Jim Thompson’s latest illustration wonders how MLB commission Rob Manfred could go hook, line and sinker into a controvery about how the Angels’ Mike Trout may better want to promote himself.
“How much trouble would it be for baseball to promote Mike Trout – its best player and an all around good guy?<” Thompson writes with his post on ThompsonSportsArt.com. “Apparently its too much trouble for Commissioner Manfred who demurred to Trout, suggesting Trout should promote himself. Wait… wut?”
