The Drill Team

Steve Lowery: Co-Host
Steve Lowery, is not that golfer who killed that bird so please stop asking him why he hates birds because he doesn’t hate birds, he just thinks they can come off as entitled, especially at parties. Lowery is the former LA Times, former The National, former Daily News, former Press-Telegram, former New Times LA, former OC Weekly, former The District staffer whose professional career is somehow far more stable than his personal life. Choices. He has written about sports and dogs and business and ice cream and has also produced several books, none of which you’re actually interested in so please just stop asking like you are because it shames both of us. He presently fills the role of “El Bonito” (“The Pretty One”) on “The Drill” while working on a new book project with a working title of “Kill All Birds!” He can be reached — though never controlled, birds — at steve@thedrillla.com.
